Harmony Arts Fest 2012 - Feastro & Dunn's

Harmony Arts Festival is back again running from Aug 3 - Aug 12.  We went last year and thouroughly enjoyed ourselves so this year we went to check it out again.  They have 2 stages with live music and lots of talented jewllery designers and artists showing their work.  I'm also happy to say that they have added more food vendors this year so that there is a bit more variety :)  Most of the vendors were the same as last year but they added a couple, the ones that caught my attention were Feastro, Faux Real and Holy Crepe.

We decided to try out Feastro the rolling bistro since it's been on our list of places to try like in forever.    It seemed like that they had a more focused menu for the Harmony Arts Festival and didn't have the crab cakes that I had heard so much about.

Nevertheless, we ordered the fish taco - crispy chickpea battered Alaskan Cod, tomato/anise chutney, organic greens, tikka masala yoghurt topped with salsa and the jerk chicken taco which had tomato/anise chutney, organic greens, mango salsa and Aji Amarillo pepper aioli.  Both tacos had so much going on but the flavours just meld together so well leaving you wanting more.

Those were our appetisers, now moving on to the main, we decided that we should have a hot dog.  We already tried the Bavarian Smoky last year from Black Forest Deli as well as the one from Mangia E Bevi so we decided to try Dunn's hot dog topped with montreal smoked meat.  Mmmm,  after the hot dog I was super satisfied :)  Tummy was extremely happy and though we were tempted by the crepes we decided to skip it.  After all, our nieces and sis in law make one wicked crepe which I doubt they could beat.
